Nabii Yohana Summoned By Bungoma Police
Police in Bungoma County have summoned Preacher Ronald Nakalila Wanyama, popularly known as Nabii Yohana to appear before Bungoma Police Commander on June 2nd, 2023.
The 83-year-old preacher ministers at the Church for All Nations in Kanduyi, Bungoma. He has previously attracted attention due to his claims of unveiling a personal bible and introducing a new currency.
Police County Chief Francis Kooli has revealed that the purpose of the summoning is to inquire about the operations of Nabii Yohana’s church. The preacher, who reportedly has 42 wives and 289 children, is under investigation for his alleged controversial teachings.
Nabii Yohana is renowned for various aspects, including a 93-book bible that he claims to have authored and utilizes for preaching within his ministry. He has also formulated his own set of commandments, augmenting the original ten delivered by Moses at Mount Sinai.
Earlier in May, another preacher named Eliud Wekesa, commonly known as Yesu wa Tongaren, was summoned by the police in Bungoma. The summons coincides with an ongoing investigation into the registration status of churches in the region and the legitimacy of their doctrines.
