A tragic incident unfolded in different areas of Likoni, Mombasa, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving another individual with critical stab wounds. According to witnesses, a gang armed with machetes carried out the attacks in two separate neighborhoods.

The initial victim, a middle-aged man, was targeted in the Jamvi la Wageni neighborhood during the early hours of Tuesday morning. Despite efforts to rush him to a medical facility in Mombasa, he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

In a separate incident, the same gang assaulted another man in the Majengo Mapya neighborhood, inflicting severe head injuries upon him.

Confirming the occurrence, the Likoni police commander stated that both attacks had taken place and assured that law enforcement officers had initiated a manhunt to apprehend the perpetrators.
