Nakuru-Nairobi Highway Congestion :KeNHA Urges Motorists To Use Alternative Routes
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has released a travel advisory urging drivers who are experiencing traffic congestion along Nakuru-Nairobi highway to consider taking alternative routes. The congestion is a result of the World Rally Championship (WRC) event in Naivasha, which attracted a large number of rally enthusiasts.
The traffic congestion initially began as spectators left the designated zones on Saturday evening. To manage the situation, traffic police are on site and advising motorists to adhere to lane discipline and avoid overlapping when approaching that particular section of the highway.
