A man from Mbooni East in Makueni County is currently evading authorities after fatally injuring his ex-wife and causing harm to her brother.

Muthwani assistant chief, Peter Kasani, revealed that the suspect had parted ways with his 30-year-old spouse approximately three months ago.

The suspect visited the ex-wife’s residence around 7 p.m., where he encountered both the woman and her brother. He assaulted the man with a machete, resulting in severe head injuries, and killed his ex-wife.

The suspect managed to flee the scene before any neighbors could respond to the horrific incident.
