Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has broken her silence amidst the whirlwind of rumors regarding her alleged relationship with US rapper Future and a supposed pregnancy.

Speculation regarding Tems’ pregnacy gained momentum after a TikTok video surfaced, seemingly showing her with a slightly enlarged belly.

Tems recently made an appearance at Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week show. During the event, observers noted her attire, a black dress paired with a purple fluffy coat and matching heels, which led some to speculate about her possible pregnancy due to the way the dress clung to her body.

These rumors sparked a wildfire on social media, with fans eargerly discussing the possibility of Tems being pregnant and even suggesting that Florida rapper Nayvadius DeMun Cash, know as Future, might be the alleged father. Others threw the name of Nigerian Afrobeat star Wizkid into the mix.

However, Tems has now addressed the situation, expressing her frustration and attempting to quell the rampant gossip. In a concise message shared on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “In conclusion, you people are all mad!”

While her statement doesn’t provide a definitive answer regarding her pregnancy, it suggests that she had been compelled to intervene and put an end to the escalating frenzy.

Future collaborated with Tems on the hit song “Wait for u,” in 2022, which also featured Drake. The collaboration significantly contributed to Tems’ rise to stardom, earning her numerous awards and opportunities to collaborate with other prominent artists.
