Moses Kuria To Hand Over To CS Rebecca Miano on Wednesday
A week after being transferred to the Ministry of Public Service, former Trade Cabinet Secretary will on Wednesday turn over the reins to his replacement.
Former East Africa Community CS, Rebecca Miano will take over from Moses Kuria at the NSSF building.
Moses Kuria declared that he was prepared to serve in any ministry or division that President Ruto placed him to.
He claimed to be leaving the Ministry as a proud guy who had accomplished a lot from setting up at least 15 industrial parks across the country to establishing economic zones in the last year.
“The same way, I have worked so hard in Trade to bring industrialization; it is the same effort I will use in my new ministry in the public service,” he said.
The CS said that everyone has a duty to support the president in whatever assignment, regardless of the ministry or department they are in, during the official opening of the Garissa County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP).
“I have not even finished a year as a Cabinet Secretary but in that period, a third of the country is now industrializing. We have brought on board investors from the biggest economic zones in just one year, so I leave this ministry with head high and a very proud person that the work we have done will not go unnoticed,” he added.
Moses Kuria has also advised all government employees and contractors to execute services in accordance with their performance contracts or leave so that more eligible Kenyans may fill the roles as he gears up for the new position. He pledged to put in a lot of effort to guarantee that the public service is delivered efficiently and warned that officials who won’t accomplish their goals will face consequences.
